Ricky earned a Bachelor’s of Science (Honors) in Computer Science from the University of Auckland, and then completed her Ph.D. Data Provenance and Summarization at the Illinois Institute of Technology. 2014-08: First Day at the University for Iridium Scholar Yuwadee Srichinlers!

Yuwadee (“Yu”) Srichinlers is off to university, and today is her first day of classes. The Iridium Scholar program helps deserving young men and women to get a university education that would normally be completely out of their reach.

We started our search for our first Iridium Scholar in Thailand, my wife’s home country. We are specifically looking for students that aspire to study the subjects that are Iridium’s business focus: law, computer science, or accounting. 2014-06: Iridium Technology Adds Soohyun “Soo” Yoon to Staff to Keep Up with Demand for Iridium BI

Iridium Technology announced that they have hired Soohyun “Soo” Yoon full-time as a Senior BI Consultant to join their expanding global consulting team to keep up with demand for Iridium BI, their game-changing BI solution. Yoon will be focused on developing, implementing, and customizing Iridium BI and be the lead client interface for the GL and Expense modules.

    2013-11 “Iridium Scholar” Program Launched

    The Iridium Scholar program was kicked off in 2013 to support young men and women who aspire to study computer science, accounting, or law but their families do not have the financial means to pay for their university education. Iridium Scholars receive a full scholarship: tuition, books, apartment, food, living expenses, etc.  and will cover the full four years of their education.

    2013-10: Operation Sam’s Club

    Our FIFTH annual Operation Sam’s Club collection drive will be held the weekend of October 5-6 in front of Sam’s Club in Reno, NV. Last year we were able to collect FOUR TONS of goods for care packages and $1,200 to help with shipping costs. We are going to try to meet or beat those results this year.     Iridium Technology, in cooperation with the Reno Sam's Club and Operation Shoebox (Belleview, FL), has once again collected FOUR TONS of donations for U.S. troops stationed overseas. Tom Jones, President of Reno-based Iridium Technology, spearheaded the effort. Tom has organized a group of dedicated volunteers in Reno who work to send care packages to deployed troops and raise awareness that our deployed troops need our support.

    Operation Sam's Club 2013 was our fifth annual collection drive to support our deployed servicemen and servicewomen.

    2013-01 Iridium Technology Client Satisfaction Survey Results

    We are pleased to announce the results of our 2012 Client Satisfaction Survey: The client feedback was extremely positive: on 18 of the 22 questions in the survey, 90% or more of the respondents gave Iridium ratings of "Highly Satisfied" or "Very Satisfied."

    Iridium Technology – the only consulting firm focused 100% on BI for law firms – is pleased to announce significant growth in 2012. “All of Iridium’s KPIs showed major increases 2012,” states Tom Jones – President of Iridium Technology. “We increased our client base for ClearView Performance implementations from 11 to 18.     We had great attendance and great feedback on our webinar last week, so we are going to do one more round of sessions the week of March 12th.

    2012-02: Iridium Technology Announces Results of Legal News and Social Media Survey

    Iridium Technology - the consulting firm that is 100% focused on business intelligence for law firms - recently announced the results of their customer satisfaction survey. As part of the survey, Iridium included questions about legal media outlets and their clientos interest in social media. The majority of respondents to the survey were CFOs and Financial Reporting Managers. Key findings:

  • The Orange Rag / Legal Technology Insider, Legal IT Professionals, and TheKnowList were cited as the most important sources of legal IT news and information.
  • Iridium provides regular updates to their client base through monthly update emails and more than 90% of the clients rated this content as 'Valuable' or 'Highly Valuable'. However, when asked if they were interested in following Iridium on Facebook, 83% of the respondents replied "No Interest." Additionally, when asked if they were interested in following Iridium on Twitter, 92% of the respondents replied "No Interest."
  • "Firstly, kudos to Rob Ameruun, Charles Christian and Daniel Brown," states Tom Jones, President of Iridium Technology. "The results clearly showed that these three fine publications are where Iridium clients go for legal news and information.
